The emerging markets power company
CDC Globeleq Holdings Limited is the holding company for the former Globeleq Group of companies. Its mission was to safely provide clean, reliable, affordable electricity, creating sustainable returns and supporting the development of the electric power sector in the emerging markets.
ABOUT USAbout Us
Founded in 2002, CDC Globeleq was the only operating power company solely focused on the emerging markets of Africa, the Americas and Asia.
Following the sale of Globeleq Ltd in 2007 Globeleq's operating business continued under the ownership of a new company, Globeleq Generation Limited. CDC Globeleq Holdings Limited continues to be responsible for the management of the legacy CDC Globeleq business.
